T. C. Kütahya Dumlupınar University Altıntaş Vocational High School is a university that is rapidly developing and is trying to provide the best service to students.

This vocational School provides education in a single-storey building on a 1500 sqm closed area located on 500 acres of land that is belonging to T.C. Kütahya Dumlupınar University. Vocational School is close to the surrounding cities and this provides an important advantage for the students.

Altıntaş Vocational School aims to raise the quality human power to fulfill the needs of today with the 5 programs within. In our Vocational School, there are 15 academic staff and 4 administrative personnel in the fields of Laboratory Technology, Food Technology, Food Quality, Control and Analysis, Postal Services and Human Resources Management programs. With various projects that are carried out in our vocational school, it plays an important role in the education and training of our students with not only education but also scientific researches. Our school staff serve one by one conversation with a smiling face our students and they can produce quick solutions to their problems at the same time. We are trying to provide the education service taht is better and has higher quality owing to the surveys conducted with the students during the semester.

Transportation

Altıntaş Vocational School Campus is located on 500.000 m2 area and 3 Km away from town center. In this aspect, our school provides a comfortable and peaceful education environment with its architectural structures intertwined with nature since it is away from the city center  Regular transportation facilities are provided between the school and dormitories and/or town center by service buses. Also, Altıntaş town has an advantageous position in terms of intercity transportation. Direct inter-city transport is possible from neighboring provinces such as Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir, Bursa, Eskisehir, Kocaeli, Manisa to Altıntaş that is 45 Km away from Kütahya city center, 60 Km away from Afyon and 70 Km away from Uşak city center.

For the students who want to come by air, there is also an airport located within the boundaries of Altıntaş Town and it is 1 km away from our vocational school. Zafer Airport provides an annual target of 1 million passengers and flight facilities anywhere in Turkey. There is also a light rail railway project for the transportation of passengers between Altıntaş and Afyonkarahisar.

For students who want to come to Kütahya by rail, there are too many options of rail links to all parts of Turkey. They can reach to Kütahya in 2 hours and 45 minutes with Ankara-Kütahya High Speed ​​Train connection

Social and Cultural Facilities

Too many kinds of activities and social activities take place in our Vocational School. Our vocational school has 1 cafeteria, 1 library, 1 amphitheater for 220 people and 1 internet access center. With 2 ping-pong tables, students can have fun during the coffe-break. Here, the students can follow the programs about economy and various areas that they want to learn or follow during the day.

We regularly organize social - cultural - scientific activities that will contribute to the personal and professional development to our students. In addition, courses, seminars and certificate programs are organized for our students in parallel areas with our vocational education programs at the weekends.

Dining Halls

There is a cafeteria in our school that is supplying meals in here every weekday for students and stuff.

Sports Centers

There are 1 football carpet pitch and 1 basketball field in our vocational school. There are 1 indoor football field and 1 indoor sports hall in Altıntaş town. Students can perform their sports activities during the day.

Accommodation Opportunities

Altıntaş town is one of the rare settlements with almost no difficulty in terms of accommodation facilities for students. There are enough dormitories for both male and female students in our town. Students who want to rent houses except for dormitories can also find a house for rent, which is built by TOKİ and which is owned by Altıntaş citizens.
