Food Quality Control and Analysis Program (Gıda Kalite Kontrolü ve Analizi Programı)
Food Quality Control and Analysis Program was opened in 2011-2012 Academic year to receive students at Altıntaş Vocational School.
Scope and aim of Program:
The Food Quality Control and Analysis program aims to educate graduates who are primarily preferred by the food industry, public institutions and universities that can effectively use their knowledge and skills in areas such as quality assurance, food control and food production.
The purpose of the program have assimilated the basic concepts and principles related to the field, from production to consumption in the process at all stages of the food chain area of food safety and quality objectives raw material and product quality, the relationship between all aspects of analyzing the necessary techniques and tools for effectively using the technological advances in parallel renewing itself relevant regulations and standards in accordance supervision and control know-how and skill, industry and service sectors involved in the capable technical staff is to educate
The program provides theoretical knowledge and skills for graduates, to production follow-up and sampling process in a proper way, to determine the compliance of foods with the legislation from production to sales and to perform quality and control process in food laboratories.
Career Opportunities
Graduates can work in institutions and organizations of public and private sector. They can carry out analysis, inspection and control services by observing technical and hygienic conditions during the production, processing and distribution stages of foods and materials in contact with food.
Transition to Senior Programs:
Graduates who are successful in the Vertical Transfer Exam (DGS) conducted by ÖSYM can continue related undergraduate program.
