Postal Services Program (Posta Hizmetleri Programı)
Postal Services Program was opened in 2017-2018 Academic year to receive students at Altıntaş Vocational School.
Scope and aim of Program:
This program enables the delivery of postal services throughout the country within the framework of effective, competitive principles with high quality, continuous, affordable prices for all users and also within the scope of postal and logistic services. The aims of this program is to educate qualified individuals who are capable of knowledge and application.
Postal sector can become an attractive market attracting investment with communication, logistics (transport and cargo) and financial services. Both the number of enterprises operating in the public institutions and the enterprises operating in the private sector are increased and the density in the institutions necessitated the presence of personnel who increased the value about postal services. Thus, with the opening of this program, qualified personnel with the necessary features in this field will be trained.
Career Opportunities
Postal services play an important role in the daily life of people around the world to communicate with each other. To fulfill the services of acceptance, separation, referral, distribution (notification, letter mail, APG and cargo / courier delivery / delivery) of the General Directorate of PTT in accordance with the provisions of the legislation, there is needs the workforce to be employed in box office (automation) and distribution services. Due to this needs, in order to meet customer demands and needs in full satisfaction, the Postal Services Program was opened. There are employment opportunities in public and private sector for those graduating from Postal Services program.
Transition to Senior Programs:
Graduates who are successful in the Vertical Transfer Exam (DGS) conducted by ÖSYM can continue related undergraduate program.
